Real World Experience, time line

• 2003 to 2010: volunteer work on numerous nonprofit php/mysql web sites (countless hours over the years)

• 2002 to present: personal software projects in C++, Java, Mathematica, PHP

• 2000-2002: music production with propellerheads, macromedia and adobe software

• 1999: A+ certified

• 1994 to present: personal websites, image processing with Photoshop, graphic design and layout with Clairus Works and PageMaker

• 1994 to 1998: pre-college courses in computer graphics, multimedia, photography, digital imagining, digital animation, graphic design, business software, BASIC programming

• 1993 First GUI based computer, PowerMac 6100 66mhz, 8mb RAM, 100mb HD, 9600 baud modem.

• 1990 Got my first own computer, 12mhz, 640kb of RAM, dual 5.25" floppy drives, 2400baud modem, DOS 3.1, no hard drive.

• 1984 First family computer, PC Jr., 4mhz, 128kb RAM, BASIC programming ROM (with filesystem, graphics and sound commands!)

• 1983 Took apart first electronic device (but didn't put it back together ;-) )

• 1981 Started watching "Today's Special" a fictional children's show on the then new television network Nickleodian, which portrayed live human actors interacting with an intelligent computer though voice recognition and speech Synthesis. The main user of the computer was a security guard character in the show.

• 1979 I was born.
